All this hot weather and its easy to forget that very soon summer holidays will be over and we start heading into Flu vaccination season. Many businesses now offer employees Flu vaccines to help reduce the chance of high sickness levels as flu sweeps through the office but also as a staff wellbeing initiative demonstrating the business is committed to the employees health and wellbeing.

Last year one of the major suppliers had a problem with their shipment, this put increased pressure on the market place and finding vaccines if not already secured was difficult. Act now and reserve your flu vaccines for this season, your supplier will usually take your order but not expect payment until September.  Vaccines are usually delivered to the providers around mid September with vaccination programmes being completed during October and November.

Vaccination only takes a few minutes and they don’t cost very much. There are 3 solutions businesses can consider and of course a combination of all 3 is possible. I have not included the GP solution as very often GP’s will only offer flu to vulnerable patients.

On site service – This involves a nurse coming to your premises in half or full day blocks they can vaccinate 40 employees per half day session. The benefit of this service is its easy and convenient for your employees so greater chance of uptake and only takes a few minutes out of their day.

Clinic Service – Ideal if you only have a few employees or they miss the on site service day. Employees can call in to their local clinic with a voucher and one of our team will vaccinate them.

National service – We can supply your business with vouchers that can be used at national supermarket and chemist around the UK. the employee presents the voucher and will be vaccinated.

Pose your OH questions and cases to our panel of experts from clinical to customer service to management during
this roundtable event. Corporate Health are offering 2 hours of free and unbiased expert advice and solutions to
your complex OH cases and concerns. This event is for you if:

  • You have an OH question that remains unsolved
  • If you need some OH advice on current cases
  • If you have a complex case that has been going on for some time and needs resolving quickly for all parties

The aim of this event is to give you the opportunity to bring your cases that are not yet resolved to the team who will
use their experience and knowledge to identify practical solutions. No case is too big or too small for the panel. All
discussions will remain confidential, according to the Chattam House rule.

Corporate Health announces a New Board to help drive the charity’s ambitious growth and strategic plans,taking turnover to £5 million in the next 3 years and using the surplus generated to deliver its charitable objectives.

Established pre NHS in 1947 on one of Britain’s largest trading estates in Slough, the charity’s objectives were to look after the Occupational Health needs of local businesses and local employees. Corporate Health continues to do this, now delivering that same high level of service to over 822 businesses across the UK who receive clear, decisive, get-off-the-fence, commercially focused advice and know that any surplus the charity makes will be invested back into future OH development, training and research.

In today’s tough economic climate, business growth and success is no mean feat, which is why Corporate Health has brought in a new Board of Directors to work with and support the Executive Management team to ensure continued development of the service delivery and satisfaction for its customers.

The new Board, all of whom have impressive backgrounds, will share their collective knowledge with the Executive Management team led by Brett Edwards – Managing Director. Under the Board’s leadership, Brett and the team will ensure the charity maintains its reputation for delivering a personal service to its customers, solving their OH problems whilst proactively developing wellbeing plans to reduce the cost of absence and put in place measures to reduce the risk of litigation.
